Privacy Policy

Effective date: March 24, 2026  |  Last updated: March 24, 2026

This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) describes how PlusOne (the mobile application) and its operator (collectively, “we,” “us,” or “our”) collect, use, disclose, store, and otherwise process information in connection with your access to or use of the PlusOne application and related services (the “Service”). By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy.

This Policy is not legal advice. You should consult qualified counsel regarding your specific obligations. If you do not agree with this Policy, do not use the Service.

1. Scope and applicability

This Policy applies to the PlusOne iOS application distributed through the Apple App Store and to any websites or web pages we operate that are expressly linked from the application or from chatplusone.com for PlusOne-related purposes. It does not apply to third-party websites, applications, or services that we do not control, including Apple’s platforms, Hugging Face or other model-hosting infrastructure, or any third-party SDK integrated into the application (each such third party’s practices are governed by its own policies).

2. Definitions

For purposes of this Policy, the following definitions apply (additional terms are defined contextually):

3. Data controller / operator

The entity responsible for the Service and this Policy is the developer / publisher identified in the App Store listing for PlusOne and reachable at the contact email below. Where Apple processes payment card data or certain account authentication data solely as a payment processor or platform operator, Apple’s privacy policies govern those specific processing activities.

4. Categories of information we may process

Depending on how you use the Service, we or our service providers may process the following categories of information (not all categories will apply to every user):

4.1 Information processed primarily on your device

PlusOne is designed so that the substantive content of your conversations and optional on-device image generation inputs and outputs are processed locally on your Device using machine-learning models you download. We do not operate a public, user-facing social network or feed of your chats. Nevertheless, certain metadata, diagnostics, crash data, or configuration data may still be transmitted off-device as described below.

4.2 Device and technical data

Such data may include device model, operating system version, app version, language/locale settings, storage availability signals, network connectivity type (not necessarily content of network traffic), timestamps, diagnostic logs, crash stack traces, performance metrics, and similar technical information necessary to operate, secure, debug, and improve the Service.

4.3 Usage and interaction data

Such data may include feature usage events, session duration, interaction patterns with the user interface, and aggregated or de-identified analytics, if such collection is enabled through SDKs or first-party code in the application build you install.

4.4 Voice and audio-related data

If you enable voice input features, audio may be processed by Apple’s speech-recognition frameworks or other system services subject to Apple’s terms and permissions model. We do not warrant that voice processing is limited exclusively to on-device execution in all configurations or OS versions.

4.5 Subscription and transaction-related data

In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple. We may receive limited transaction-related information from Apple or our subscription management provider (e.g., entitlement status, subscription tier, renewal events, anonymized or pseudonymous identifiers) as necessary to unlock paid functionality.

4.6 Cloud synchronization (if enabled)

If the Service uses Apple iCloud / CloudKit or similar sync services, certain application data may be stored and synchronized by Apple between your devices in accordance with your Apple ID settings and Apple’s policies.

4.7 Support communications

If you contact support, we will process the contents of your communications, your contact details, and related metadata as needed to respond and maintain records of the inquiry.

5. Sources of information

We may obtain information: (a) directly from you when you use the Service or contact us; (b) automatically from your Device through the Service; (c) from Apple and other platform providers in connection with distribution, payments, and platform services; (d) from third-party SDKs integrated into the application; and (e) from CDNs or hosting providers involved in delivering model weights or updates.

6. Purposes of processing and legal bases (where applicable)

We process information for purposes that may include, without limitation:

Where the GDPR, UK GDPR, or similar frameworks apply, we may rely on one or more lawful bases such as performance of a contract, legitimate interests (balanced against your rights), consent where required, or legal obligation. Where consent is the basis, you may withdraw consent subject to technical and contractual limitations.

7. Disclosure of information

We may disclose information to the following categories of recipients, in each case only as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy:

We do not “sell” personal information in the traditional sense of selling lists for cash consideration. If we engage in activities that could be characterized as “sharing” or “selling” personal information under U.S. state privacy laws (for example, certain digital advertising or analytics configurations), we will provide legally required notices and choice mechanisms.

8. International transfers

We are based in the United States and may process and store information in the United States and other jurisdictions where we or our service providers operate. Those jurisdictions may not provide the same level of data protection as your country of residence. Where required by law, we will implement appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for cross-border transfers.

9. Retention

We retain information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. Retention criteria include the nature of the information, the potential risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure, whether we can achieve those purposes through other means, and applicable legal, tax, accounting, or regulatory requirements. On-device content may persist on your Device until you delete the application or erase local data.

10. Security

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, alteration, or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Device, operating system updates, and Apple ID credentials.

11. Your privacy rights and choices

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict certain processing of your personal information, and to object to certain processing or to withdraw consent. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise rights, contact us using the information below. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling requests. Apple may offer additional device- and account-level controls (e.g., App Tracking Transparency, subscription management) that operate independently of this Policy.

11.1 United States — California and other state laws

If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, “CCPA/CPRA”), including rights to know, delete, and correct personal information, and to opt out of certain “sharing” or “sales” as defined by law. We do not discriminate against consumers for exercising these rights, as prohibited by applicable law. Residents of Colorado, Virginia, Connecticut, Utah, and other states with comprehensive privacy laws may have analogous rights subject to statutory exceptions.

11.2 European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland

If you are located in these regions and applicable law applies, you may have GDPR/UK GDPR-derived rights regarding access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and human review of certain automated decisions, subject to limitations. You may contact us to exercise those rights or complain to your local supervisory authority.

12. Children’s privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction to consent to data processing without parental authorization). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe we have collected such information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it, subject to legal obligations.

13. Third-party links and integrations

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or rely on third-party SDKs. This Policy does not govern those third parties. Their collection, use, and disclosure of information is governed by their respective privacy policies.

14. Automated processing and artificial intelligence

The Service uses on-device machine learning models to generate outputs. Such systems may produce inaccurate, incomplete, offensive, or biased results. Automated outputs are not reviewed by a human in real time unless expressly stated in-product for a specific feature.

15. Changes to this Policy

We may modify this Policy at any time. We will post the updated Policy with a revised “Last updated” date and, where required by law or reasonably appropriate, provide additional notice (for example, in-app disclosure or email). Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy, to the extent permitted by law.

16. Contact

For privacy-related requests or questions, contact:

support@spanishapps.com

We will endeavor to respond within a reasonable timeframe consistent with applicable law.
